Properly snaring a calf’s head.
Use a chain that is at least 60 inches long. Make a loop by inserting the chain into the oval opening at either end of the chain. Thread the loop over your fingers, otherwise the loop will collapse.
Loop the chain up over both ears and through the mouth.
Do not wrap the chain around the calf’s neck because you will choke the calf and you may actually move the head out of the proper position. Do not apply the chain to the jaw alone because you will break the calf’s jaw and teeth.
