Dairy producers and farm employees are invited to attend the Practical Mastitis Control Workshop, a free educational program offered this November in Platteville and Curtiss, Wisconsin. The workshop will provide research-based strategies to improve milk quality, reduce mastitis risk, and enhance milking performance.

Designed for dairy farm owners, managers, supervisors, and employees, the workshop combines current research, proven management practices, and real-world farm scenarios. Participants will leave with tools and ideas they can implement immediately to improve udder health, milking efficiency, and farm profitability.

What Participants Will Learn

  • Animal handling and milk let-down practices that support successful milking
  • Key drivers of milk quality, including cow, environmental, and milking management factors
  • How to identify and reduce mastitis risk factors
