Join Dr. Paul Fricke as he discusses high fertility success with a group of Wisconsin Dairy Farmers.

To help Wisconsin Dairy Farmers, Veterinarians, & Dairy Consultants to get the most current and up to date research information, the UW-Extension Dairy program is having a live producer panel. This panel will be moderated by Dr. Paul Fricke.
Joining him to share their strategies to achieve superior reproductive efficiencies on farm are Dave Jauquet, Mike Martin, Jeff McNeely and Chuck Ripp. These producers will give highlights of their protocols used on their dairies.
This will be an interactive format where questions are encouraged to be asked to these dairy producers. Dr. Fricke will also include his experience and ask pointed questions to the panel. This virtual panel discussion is one you don’t want to miss!

About the panel

David Jauquet owns and operates Jauquet’s Hillview Dairy alongside his wife Stacy and 11 full time employees. They have 2 children, Blake-18 and Stella-13. The farm is located in Luxemburg WI and milks approximately 700 registered Holstein cows. They farm 1,150 acres to grow BMR corn silage, alfalfa, rye and wheat for feed for the dairy.

Maple Ridge Dairy is a progressive 1800 cow dairy cropping 3800 acres in Central WI. Investing and dedicated to people, cow comfort and the environment. Owned by Brian Forrest, Mike Martin is part owner beginning January 2025.

Robert McNeely owns and operates Brooklyn Rollin’ Green Dairy Farm—a family-owned dairy started over 50 years ago by Robert & Patricia McNeely near Brooklyn, WI. Today the farm is run by Jim (2nd generation) and his two sons: Jeffrey and Jamison. Rollin’ Green Dairy has progressed into three generations and has now grown to 210 cows, over 1800 acres dedicated to crops along with finishing 160 steers/year.

Chuck Ripp from Ripp’s Valley Dairy from Dane, WI milk 900 Holstein cows 3 times a day. They prioritize animal well-being and herd health and contribute attention to detail from the entire team at Ripp Valley Dairy for their herd’s reproductive success.
About the moderator

Dr. Paul M. Fricke, raised on a family farm in Nebraska, earned his B.S. in Animal Science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and his M.S. and Ph.D. in Reproductive Physiology from North Dakota State University. He joined the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1998, becoming a full professor in 2009. Dr. Fricke’s research focuses on reproductive issues in dairy cattle, and he has published extensively, mentored numerous students, and secured over $4 million in research funding. His Extension programs aim to improve dairy cattle reproduction, and he is a sought-after speaker worldwide. Dr. Fricke has received multiple awards for his contributions to dairy science.
