En esta charla se abordan los factores que influyen en la calidad del forraje, como la madurez al momento de la cosecha, la genética, incluyendo el uso de variedades BMR y otros forrajes modificados para mejorar la digestibilidad, y las diferencias de manejo entre gramíneas y leguminosas. Además, se analiza cómo interactúan estos factores en el campo, donde múltiples variables pueden afectar la calidad final de nuestros forrajes.
Summary (English)
This talk addresses the factors that influence forage quality, such as maturity at harvest, genetics—including the use of BMR varieties and other forages modified to improve digestibility—and the differences in management between grasses and legumes. Furthermore, we will analyze how these factors interact in the field, where multiple variables can affect the final quality of our forages.
